Dare2Care is the leading first point of contact for youth mental health in Germany.

The Berlin based NPO believes that schools should be a place where children & teenagers are empowered and learn the knowledge to confidently follow their own path. Dare2Care wants to change how schools operate and better prepare children for their life in the future.

@We.dare2care: For 1.5 years, I was one of the hosts of Dare2Care's Instagram account. I created content to educate young people on Instagram about mental health and support them in their personality development.

Stay In Stay Sane
A campaign by Dare2Care
What it was about: The campaign "Stay In Stay Sane" was launched during the initial Covid-19 outbreak in March 2020.
I developed the concept with some other smart humans during a weekend long hackathon that was organized by the German government to find solutions for various aspects related to the pandemic. "Stay In Stay Sane" was an Instagram account that aimed to help people through a period of social distancing and uncertainty by supporting their mental health.

What happened after: In June 2020 we decided to re-brand and re-launch the Instagram account to the main "Dare2Care" account (see above). At this point, people were not completely isolating anymore. This also had an impact on the content we were sharing. The name "Stay In Stay Sane" partly lost its relevance. The re-brand gave us the freedom to re-think our content and establish a new social strategy.

With this campaign, Dare2Care won $11,000 funding by Amazon's initiative "Digital engagiert".
